East One

After selling a number of successful coffee shops in Copenhagen and London, the founders of East One Coffee Roasters set their sights on Brooklyn, NY. Parkbench Architects proudly reimagined this Carroll Gardens corner restaurant – formerly Casa Rosa. Involved from lease negotiations through punch list, the design and construction of East One was truly a labor of love from start to finish. Through revealing the existing structure and exposing the brick walls and steel and wood ceilings, this light-filled space both respects the bones of the building and creates one of the hippest and coziest coffee shops in Brooklyn. With a full-service restaurant surrounding a glassed-in coffee roaster in the back and a spacious cafe in the front, East One is a mainstay for any coffee lover.
